Speed Dating is a great way to meet lots of new people in one fun night. CFM are taking the plunge and are holding their first dating night on Friday 21st of October at UNIT Bar in Carlisle. They want the night to be fast paced, really sociable and highly effective too!

The format for speed dating event

On arrival at the venue their hosts will register you and supply you with a scorecard and pen along with your starting table number and a name badge.

After a brief introduction from the host the first date starts and the outrageous flirting begins! Each speed date lasts for around 3 minutes after which the end of the date is signalled by your hosts. The guys then move to the next girl in numerical order. This process continues until the half time break.

After each date participants mark their date as either a 'yes' a 'no' or a 'friend' plus makes notes about them to help remember them the next day. (they are working on a system that will allow you to check up on what your dates thought of you, but in the meantime if you like someone, get their number to be on the safe side)
