Merienda Coffee Bar

Merienda is a modern relaxed cafe-bar situated in the centre of Carlisle, where you can sip a latte whilst relaxing in lovely surroundings, or play a game of scrabble while enjoying a spot of lunch.

We use locally produced food and drink wherever possible and also try hard to incorporate a wide range of fairly traded products on our menu. We’re involved with Cumbria’s vibrant art scene, showcasing and selling graduate art work. We also hold weekly music nights where local musicians can come and show off their talent.

Above all, Merienda is a place where people can get together, have a good gossip and relax!
